Rebase PR #257 (edges-tokens migration) onto current main

PR #257 (branch: meridian/edges-migration) contains the full @texturehq/edges 1.33.2 + @texturehq/[email protected] migration, including homepage CSS changes. It is currently stale and will conflict with PR #258 (hero map redesign) which shipped a different homepage layout. The deploy-blocker next.config.mjs fix from this branch was already cherry-picked into main as PR #259 (commit 0e92e73), so #257 is no longer time-critical. Todo: (1) git fetch origin main; (2) rebase meridian/edges-migration onto main; (3) resolve homepage.css + globals.css conflicts — keep the PR #258 hero-map structure, layer edges-tokens semantic vars on top; (4) re-verify all uses of edges-tokens in the bumped components; (5) drop next.config.mjs from the diff since it is now upstream; (6) push, watch CI, get Nick sign-off on visual diff before merging.
